The following are volunteer opportunities, timing and the number of people needed per shift: 

Volunteer Coordinator: Suz Kashnow - suzkashnow@gmail.com

Race Set-Up: 10 people Time: 6:00am - 8:00am 
Description: Set-up tables, tents, chairs, trashcans, hang banners and assist as needed.

Food Tables: 2-3 people Time: Week of event 8:00am - 10:30 am 
Description: Pick-up and store donated food items from neighborhood supermarkets, arrange and distribute food to participants from food stations in Union square.

Course Marshalls: 30 people Time: 8:00 am - 10:30 am  
Description: You’ll spread out over the entire course; assist the Baltimore City Police with monitoring intersections, cones and turns. You will direct runners so that they stay on course, keeping cars off the course, and keeping the course safe during the duration of the event. This activity requires some walking.

Water Station: 2 people Time: 8:45am - 10:30am  
Description: Drive or ride with vehicle as provided to Carroll Park and set up table and chairs. You will fill and hand out cups of water to runners as they run by. After runners go by, you will clean up the station by picking up cups and filling trash bags.  

Finish Line: 5-10 people Time: 9:00am - 10:30am  
Description: Activities include helping to keep runners moving through the finish line towards the Timing corral where you will collect bib tear-offs from runners; handing out water and gift cards other give-a-ways.  

Race Clean-up: 10 people Time: 11:30 am - 12:30am 
Description: Break-down tables, tent, chairs, trashcans, barricades, etc. This activity requires some heavy lifting (20-60 lbs)
